Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) outpaced Bitcoin (BTC) as cryptocurrencies began a recovery in Tuesday’s dealing.
Recent days saw the major crypto market rattled amidst a wall of omicron triggered fears and a transition to ‘risk-off’ trading though, in step with equities, prices were bouncing back as sentiments rallied.
Bitcoin rose by 8.33% to trade at US$51,350 whilst Ethereum added 11.5% to US$4,402.
Solana climbed 11.4% to US$203 whilst the Cardano ADA token was priced at US$1.47, up 12.4%.
The Ripple XRP token was up 8.45% at US$0.8391 as Polkadot (DOT) and Terra (LUNA) advanced 10.5% and 6.2% to US$28.93 and US$69.09.
Doggy meme-coins Dogecoin and Shiba Inu traded to 9.8% and 12%, at US$0.1804 and US$0.0000383.
Traders will likely continue to white-knuckle through the coming days.
