SenSen Networks Ltd (ASX:SNS, OTCQB:SNNSF), an AI software and solution provider, has secured a contract to work with Sunshine Coast Regional Council in Queensland to deploy automated parking enforcement solutions.
The contract is worth around A$280,000 over the 36-month period of the initial contract and starts in the new year when SenSen will deploy a mobile parking enforcement unit and associated software and services.
SenSen will earn upfront revenue for the systems, software and commissioning of the unit, along with annual recurring revenues and fees for the software licence, maintenance and support services under the three-year term of the contract.
Growing market
The Sunshine Coast Regional Council covers more than 4,000 kilometres of roads and a population of more than 350,000.
Curbside management is a growing market for AI companies, with local councils looking for efficient and fail-safe ways to enforce compliance. SenSen believes it is well placed to roll out its patented and award-winning technology to tackle the existing and emerging challenges cities face.
