PowerTap Hydrogen Capital Corp. (NEO:MOVE.AQN, OTC:MOTNF) said its Gen3 modular hydrogen production and dispensing system has met with fanfare and accolades at the ongoing Expo 2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Viridian Hydrogen UAE and PowerTap received a "tremendous number of inquiries" from investors and potential partners due to the PowerTap exhibition, the company said in a statement.
“We cannot express how delighted we are at the reception we have received from the people of the UAE and the visitors to Expo 2020. We are looking forward to working with current and new partners to continue to utilize PowerTap's technology and systems to provide a clean fuel source for a variety of commercial needs,” said Raghu Kilambi, CEO of PowerTap Hydrogen Capital.
PowerTap has retained Viridian Hydrogen UAE as a provider of integrated renewable solutions, focusing on the development of hydrogen in the UAE and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
Website traffic at Viridian is up over 1000% due to the show and the company has received a number of inquiries from major companies and representatives of national utility and technology companies to identify ways to utilize PowerTap's patented technologies for hydrogen production, distribution, utilization, and carbon capture technology, noted PowerTap.
Additionally, Viridian also sat on a panel at Expo 2020 to discuss the future of renewable and hydrogen technology.
PowerTap said it will continue to work with Viridian and Viridian’s Hydrogen Advisory Council to deliver on a variety of hydrogen-focused projects currently being explored with governments and Fortune500 companies as a result of the Expo 2020.
"Through a diverse network of local partners and advisors Viridian has positioned itself as the trusted resource for governments and multinational corporations wishing to implement their renewable strategies in the region," PowerTap said.
