Cellular Goods appoints consumer goods veteran Anna Chokina as CEO

Cellular Goods is a UK-based provider of premium consumer products based on lab-made cannabinoids

Cellular Goods PLC (LSE:CBX) has appointed Anna Chokina as chief executive to manage the company's next stage of development following the launch of its inaugural cannabidiol (CBD) based product range last week.

Chokina has more than 20 years of experience in senior roles in the consumer goods industry. She successfully launched Avon's first-ever lines of CBD-based products for the personal care and skincare market and before that she was General Manager in Russia for L'Oreal.

She succeeds founder Alexis Abraham, who becomes Chief Strategy Officer, with both appointments effective today. Abraham, who founded the company in 2018, has led the company through its first stage of development with its flotation on the London Stock Exchange and the launch of its first range of skincare and ingestibles.

“Under his leadership the company has established a strong foundation as the first pure-play consumer cannabinoid brand to list on the LSE and successfully launched its inaugural product ranges just nine months after the start-up of commercial operations," said chairman Peter Wall..

"Anna's appointment heralds an exciting new chapter for Cellular as the company enters its revenue generating phase and her deep expertise will help guide the future direction of the company,” said Wall.
