Chimeric Therapeutics CEO Jennifer Chow joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has an exclusive option agreement with Case Western Reserve University for a clinically validated, off the shelf, Enhanced Natural Killer cell platform.
Chow tells Proactive this platform technology provides the next generation NK and CAR- NK products. Chow says natural killer cells have innate safety features and the natural ability to target and destroy cancer cells through both indirect and direct mechanisms. Chow also says their company intends to begin a research collaboration to further enhance and engineer the CORE-NK platform cells to develop three initial CAR-NK products.
