Golden Independence Mining Corp (CSE:IGLD, OTCQB:GIDMF) chief executive Christos Doulis joined Proactive at Mines & Money 2021 to explain how its gold story in Nevada has progressed since August last year, as well as outlining its two potential paths in the future.

Formation of the JV will allow others to see what the relationship is with AGEI and gives clarity about the relationship.
That is important, he says, as in early 2022 GIM will have to decide on a path either to develop the heap leach operation or to drill the high-grade skarn at depth and prove the concept.
While the heap leach route will bring early cash flow, Doulis says developing the skarn might also revitalise the Phoenix mine's prospects and appeal to Barrick.
Doulis believes gold prices will rise in the future following the "massive monetary debasement in the West in the last year as a response to the COVID pandemic.
