Brookside Energy continues Rangers Well preparations with rig mobilisation imminent

Mobilising of the Kenai Rig 18 at Rangers Well is slated to begin on December 6 with an estimated spud date in the week commencing December 13, 2021.

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) continues with preparations for drilling of Rangers Well, the company's second well within the SWISH area of interest (AOI) in the world-class Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma.

Kenai Rig 18 will be mobilised to the Rangers Drilling Spacing Unit, with mobilisation expected to begin on December 6, 2021. The estimated spud date is in the week commencing December 13.

The installation of ancillary and support equipment at the location, including storage of water and drilling fluids along with trailers to house operations supervision personnel and equipment, is slated to begin this week.

SWISH AOI

Brookside Energy has been developing the SWISH AOI with a five-year, 20-plus well development plan across three operated development areas (Jewell, Rangers and Flames) to develop a conservatively estimated 11,606,000 net barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) prospective resource.

The company has already enjoyed some success with its first SWISH AOI well, Jewell, exceeding estimates significantly and reaching a peak rate (IP24) of around 1,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

About Brookside Energy

Brookside Energy is developing oil and gas assets in the United States, with a particular focus on its 'core of the core' holding in the Anadarko Basin.

The company has a ‘real estate development’ approach to acquiring prospective acreage in the basin and plans to value-add by consolidating leases and proving up oil and gas reserves.

Brookside says it has established deep and valued relationships in the oil and gas sector over the last 10 years through its successful activities in the industry focused on the mid-continent region of the United States.

The company’s goal is to build value per share through a disciplined portfolio approach to the acquisition and development of producing oil and gas assets and the leasing and development of acreage opportunities.
