Empower Clinics CEO Steven McAuley joined Steve Darling from Proactive to bring news the company has received approval from Health Canada to proceed under the original Device Class I authorization for Kai Care COVID-19 At-Home Saliva Collection Kit.
McAuley told Proactive the company was selling already in Canada but paused in September to participate in a review with Health Canada. That review is complete and will soon resume Canadian sales. The Company is preparing reactivation steps such as updating the product labelling, instructions and an e-commerce site based on the revised framework from Health Canada.
