Harry Turnbull, Meteor Gold's head of investments out of the UK, joins Proactive at the Mines & Money conference in London to discuss the company's progress in its first year.
The junior miner holds 20 licences spanning some 1,100 square kilometres prospectiing for multiple metals in Kazakhstan.
Meteor has seen quick success - with eight of the thirteen licences explored in the field thus far seen as having the potential to be commercially viable in the future.
Among them, an iron ore site is quickly showing signs of "world-class potential" with early-stage estimates pointing to what may be a US$26bn prize that could, according to Turnbull, "increase quite dramatically" in the coming days.
