OKYO Pharma Limited, the life sciences and biotechnology company, announced the appointment of non-executive director Bernand Denoyer with immediate effect.
Denoyer has over 49 years of financial management experience, including a decade at Synergy Pharmaceuticals, a Nasdaq-listed development stage company, and another at its former parent Callisto Pharmaceuticals.
At Callisto, where he was principal financial officer, and Synergy he supported over US$500mln of public and PIPE financings with related due diligence, SEC registrations and market listings.
Denoyer will assume the role of chair of the nomination committee of the board from board chairman Gabriele Cerrone, who will continue to serve as a member of the nomination committee.
With immediate effect, Willy Simon will assume the role of senior non-executive and will continue to chair the remuneration committee of the board.
