TRACON Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:TCON) Inc CEO Charles Theuer tells Proactive that its partners had announced that envafolimab had received marketing authorization from the Chinese National Medical Products Administration - the first approval of a subcutaneously administered checkpoint inhibitor. Theuer says Envafolimab has been given the go-ahead for adults with microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H), or deficient MisMatch Repair (dMMR) advanced solid tumors. This includes patients with advanced colorectal cancer, where the disease has progressed following treatment with a fluoropyrimidine, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan, as well as those with other advanced solid tumors.
