Talon Metals Corp released yet another round of high-grade drill results from its flagship Tamarack nickel-copper-cobalt project.
Results from another 11 drill holes from the Minnesota-based project returned intercepts of 15.32 metres grading 6.06% nickel and 2.51% copper, 9.93 metres grading 5.68% nickel and 2.12% copper, and 13.25 metres grading 3.97% nickel and 1.48% copper.
The holes were drilled at the CGO West target, which lies around 100 metres outside of Tamarack’s existing resource area.

Other intercepts reported include 7.24 metres grading 4.77% nickel and 1.89% copper, 11.32 metres grading 2.65% nickel and 1.16% copper, and 7.61 metres grading 2.26% nickel and 1.67% copper.
"The hits just keep on coming - the Talon exploration team is consistently hitting high-grade massive sulphides during the Tamarack drill program," Etienne Dinel, Talon’s vice president geology, said in a statement.
"All of the drill holes reported today fall outside of the Tamarack Nickel Project's main resource area and are expected to increase the size and extent of the known nickel and copper resource at Tamarack."
Talon is advancing the giant Tamarack nickel project in Minnesota, to potentially supply the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) battery materials market.
The company is one of the only undeveloped nickel projects in the US and could be one of the only options for nickel if EV raw materials are going to be sourced domestically.
