Kodiak Copper Corp has boosted its senior management with the appointment of Harpreet Bajaj as corporate secretary, while Nancy Curry has been promoted to vice-president (VP) of corporate development.

Meanwhile, Curry is a senior communications professional with over 25 years' experience, and who has worked for many successful companies including Mountain Province Mining Inc, Diamonds North Resources Ltd (TSX-V:DDN) and Serengeti Resources Inc (TSX-V:SIR), which recently merged with Sun Metals Corp to form Northwest Copper Corp.

She was nominated twice for Best Investor Relations of a TSX venture exchange company by IR Magazine.

The company's most advanced asset is the MPD copper-gold porphyry project in the prolific Quesnel Trough in British Columbia, where it made a discovery of high-grade mineralization within a wide mineralized envelope in 2020.

Due to ongoing flood-related challenges, field operations at MPD have now ceased. The 2021 drill program is complete and 21,675 metres have been drilled. For 2022, a drill program of up to 25,000 metres is planned and will begin in the first quarter, the company noted in the statement.
