Sensyne Health sees London Stock Exchange fine reduced thanks to early payment

The company has reviewed its corporate governance structure and enhanced its procedures, resources and controls since it floated in 2018

Sensyne Health PLC (AIM:SENS), the clinical artificial intelligence company, has agreed to settlement terms on a fine imposed by the London Stock Exchange.

The fine of £580,000 was discounted to £406,000 because of early payment and was for historical breaches of AIM rules relating to the payment of certain initial public offering bonuses in 2018.

Sensyne Health fully cooperated with the London Stock Exchange during the period of its investigation over the past two years and reiterated its apology for its failure to properly understand and meet its AIM disclosure obligations during the first year of its listing as a public company, between November 2018 and October 2019.

Since that period, Sensyne has taken significant steps to strengthen its governance to meet the standards required of a publicly listed company and is committed to upholding these standards.

Shares in Sensyne were unchanged in early deals.
