Aurumin Ltd (ASX:AUN) has completed drilling at its 100%-owned Mt Dimer Gold Project, 120 kilometres northeast of Southern Cross in Western Australia.
The drilling program consisted of 30 new reverse circulation drill holes and two re-entries of existing holes, targeting four different deposits and prospects, for a total of 3,004 metres.
All initial samples have been dispatched to the assay laboratory.
The company expects assays to be returned prior to the end of the year.
Drill program
Drilling assessed existing deposits, Lighting, LO3 and Frodo, and also followed up on encouraging results at T12, a newly identified mineralised structure.
T12 was discovered during Aurumin's SAM survey target drilling program and received further positive results in the July drilling program.
Previous results
Earlier in November, the company received additional high-grade assays in follow-up sampling from the July RC drilling at the Mt Dimer Project, which were in addition to the results received and reported in September and improve both Lightning and LO3 results.
Mt Dimer
Mt Dimer is a historical high-grade production centre, having produced more than 125,000 ounces of gold, including open pit and underground production of 600,000 tonnes at 6.4 g/t gold.
Aurumin has four gold projects, including two historical high-grade production centres, Mt Dimer and Mt Palmer.
It is actively exploring its tenements and will pursue further acquisitions, which complement its existing focus and create additional shareholder value.
