Goldseek Resources Inc. (CSE:GSK) has announced assay results from the final three drill holes at the Beschefer gold project in Quebec, which included 0.96 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 19.9 meters (m) and 1.56 g/t gold over 7.0m encountered in a 90m step-out hole in the East Zone.
The company said 15 of 17 holes returned gold values highlighted by 4.92 g/t gold over 28.65m, the second-best intercept on the property to date in terms of grade and thickness.
“BE-21-14 extends the East Zone to the northeast by 90 meters and supports the expansion potential of the Project,” company CEO Jon Deluce said in a statement.

“This hole encountered strong chalcopyrite over varied metric lengths. With all chalcopyrite occurrences combined, it results in a large envelope reaching 100 meters of core length.” Deluce added.
Goldseek noted that between 30m and 200m of finely disseminated chalcopyrite found in the three step-out holes support the project’s copper potential, with base metal results still outstanding.
It added that a follow-up drill program is being planned with a targeted start date of late January 2022.
The Beschefer asset is an advanced gold exploration project in the Detour gold trend near Wallbridge Mining’s Fenelon gold project.
The company says the mineralization there shows high-grade gold-bearing structures hosted in a lower grade envelope, highlighting the regional potential along already defined shear zones.
