FTSE 100 made more progress as oil companies rallied on the crude price movement and product tester Intertek jumped after strong results. London’s blue chip index was up 36 at 7,302 in early dealings.

Bradda head Lithium reported the best results so far from a 2021 drilling programme on its Burro Creek East (BCE) project in Arizona. Assay results from the first three new holes identified thicker intersections of Upper Clay than anticipated.
