Goldseek Resources reports more strong intercepts from maiden drill program at Beschefer

The assays hail from seven holes, which were sunk at the Central Shallow Zone and West Zone, covering around 700m of strike over a general northeast trend

Goldseek Resources Inc has reported more encouraging results from its maiden drill program at the Beschefer gold project in Quebec.

The assays hail from seven holes, which were sunk at the Central Shallow Zone and West Zone, covering around 700 metres of strike over a general northeast trend. One hole at the Central Shallow zone hit 2.17 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 13.2 metres (m), including 3.9 g/t of the yellow metal over 5.6m.

Notably, Goldseek also told investors that gold was hit in six of seven holes, including 2.01 g/t of the precious metal over 13m in one hole, which supported the extension of the East Zone of the gold-bearing structure to the northeast.

"We are very excited to announce continued strong intercepts from our maiden 5,000-metre program at Beschefer," said Goldseek CEO Jon Deluce in a statement.

"The results support the continuity of the northeast mineralized trend for over a kilometer once combined with all historical drilling. Our best results from this batch support identifying at least two gold shoots that present possibilities of down-dip extensions.

"We look forward to the remainder of the results, with our three 100–175-metre extension/step-out holes on the East Zone still outstanding, which hit the mineralized zone with favourable indicators observed over intervals similar to previous holes," he added.

"As we continue to process and report results, we are starting to plan our follow-up winter drill program with a targeted start in January 2022."

The Beschefer asset is an advanced gold exploration project in the Detour gold trend near Wallbridge Mining’s Fenelon gold project.

The firm says the mineralization there shows high-grade gold-bearing structures hosted in a lower grade envelope, highlighting the regional potential along already defined shear zones.
