Golden Minerals Company (NYSE-A:AUMN, TSX:AUMN, ETR:7GB) has announced the appointment of Julie Weedman as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
Weedman is expected to join Golden Minerals on January 16, 2022 as vice president of finance and then become vice president and CFO around the end of February 2022, following the retirement of current CFO Robert Vogels.
“Julie brings with her a wealth of mining industry as well as accounting and finance experience, and I believe her proven talents will be instrumental as our company continues to grow in 2022 and beyond,” Golden Minerals Company (NYSE-A:AUMN, TSX:AUMN, ETR:7GB) chief executive officer Warren Rehn said in a statement.

Weedman has more than 30 years of financial and accounting experience, including 10 years of mining experience with Phelps Dodge.
Golden Minerals has a strong pipeline of exploration projects that it plans to advance using the cash flow generated from its Rodeo and Velardeña operations. The company owns the El Quevar silver property in Argentina and is advancing mining properties in Mexico, Nevada, and Argentina.
