European Metals Holdings Keith Coughlan, executive chairman joins Proactive London to outline their aim to limit the potential impact of its Cinovec lithium project on global warming.
These include the potential use of solar power, an electric mining fleet, Hypex Bio explosives and green hydrogen for thermal energy. The mine is already set to be powered by 100% renewable energy.
He says they are very pleased with the Minviro LCA, confirming 'Cinovec has the potential to have the lowest overall environmental impacts compared to other conventional lithium battery metals projects not only in Europe but also on a global basis'.
