Marvel Discovery Corp announced that it has acquired Highway North Property in the Athabasca region of Saskatchewan, in an agreement with District 1 Exploration Corp. The company said that the property is located 70 kilometers southwest of the former producing Key Lake Uranium Mine. The Highway North property consists of five contiguous claims of 2,573 hectares. The Key Lake Deposit, which is northeast of the property, consisted of two mineralized zones which historically produced a total of 4.2 million tonnes of product at an average grade of 2.1% triuranium octoxide (U3O8), a compound of uranium, the release said. Only 21 drill holes have been drilled on the property thus far totaling 3,527m, between 1980 and 2008.

i-80 Gold Corp. has announced that it is proceeding with its planned underground, advanced-exploration program at the company's 100%-owned McCoy-Cove property in Nevada. McCoy-Cove is one of four projects currently being advanced by i-80 and one of the “key projects” contemplated in the company's plans to restart the Lone Tree processing facility that includes an autoclave. “The underground plan will include the construction of a decline and a level that will include multiple drill bays in order to upgrade resources and complete a feasibility study,” said the company. The Cove deposit on the property represents one of North America's higher grade gold deposits with grades of more than 10 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au). The deposit remains open for expansion to the southeast.

Bragg Gaming Group (TSX:BRAG, NASDAQ:BRAG) Inc said its wholly-owned ORYX Gaming unit has been granted a UK license, a significant milestone that will see the company enter one of the world’s most mature iGaming markets and substantially increase its global reach to the largest online gambling market. District Metals Corp has reported the latest drill results from its second phase campaign at its flagship Tomtebo project in Sweden, which, it said, were better than expected. The assays come from the first three holes from the program, two of which targeted the Steffenburgs zone and were sunk down plunge from another previous hole, which returned 8.2 meters (m) t 20.94% zinc-equivalent from a depth of 65.3m to 73.5m. The latest highlight results from Steffenburgs included 14.3 m at 14.2% zinc-equivalent from 210m depth, and 11.6m at 16.9% zinc-equivalent starting from 210.8m depth in one hole. Whitehorse Gold Corp has announced the successful completion of the 2021 exploration and drill program on its wholly-owned Skukum gold project in Canada’s Yukon territory. The company said it completed 44 diamond drill holes on the project, undertaken with three drill rigs, that were focused on the three deposits: Skukum Creek, Mt. Skukum and Goddell. It said the program was comprised primarily of step-out and infill holes, as well as exploration/technical holes. American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) said it has named Tarlis Thompson as president of its American Carbon division, which covers mining operations in Kentucky and West Virginia.
