XPhyto Therapeutics Corp. (CSE:XPHY, OTCQB:XPHYF) said it has appointed Joseph Meagher as chief financial officer of the company.
Meagher, a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Director, is currently the CFO (chief financial officer) of Defence Therapeutics Corp, a publicly-traded biotechnology company engineering next-generation vaccines and anti-body drug conjugate products, said XPhyto in a statement.
Meagher is also highly experienced in IFRS reporting and serves and has served as CFO for several publicly listed companies, it added.

Christopher Ross will continue to advise the company on financial and corporate matters, including M&A, valuation work and IFRS compliance and reporting, said the company.
On November 3, 2021, the company announced the appointment of Dr Thomas Beckert as the managing director of its wholly-owned unit, XP Diagnostics GmbH. Beckert, a Germany-based scientist and experienced corporate executive, will be leading XPhyto's drug formulation and diagnostics operations.
XPhyto is a bioscience accelerator focused on next-generation drug delivery, diagnostic, and new active pharmaceutical ingredient investment opportunities with research and development operations in North America and Europe. It is currently focused on regulatory approval and commercialization of medical products for European markets.
