4Global PLC, a sports-focused data services company, today revealed it intends to list on London’s AIM next month.
The UK-based company, which focuses on the promotion and measurement of physical activity in large sporting events, said it expected to be admitted for trading in early December 2021 after a placing of up to £4mln.
"This is an important step in our growth journey as we scale the business and continue to aid our clients in the promotion of sports participation,” commented Eloy Mazon, chief executive officer of 4Global.
The initial public offer will give the company a market capitalisation of approximately £20mln, with the net proceeds planned to accelerate 4Global’s growth, via acquisitions of complementary businesses and expanding its existing client base, the company said in a statement.
“We believe that the combined expertise of our board will enable us to maximise opportunities and admission will provide us with the credibility and access to capital to support our growth,” added Mazon.
The company predominantly works with governments, local authorities and cities, sporting federations (e.g. the Football Association, England & Wales Cricket Board), and activity providers (e.g. The Gym Group) to “produce significant and measurable health, social and economic benefits”.
4Global has been involved with the last three Olympic Games in London, Rio, and Tokyo, as well as the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship and the 2015 rugby world cup.
Spark Advisory Partners is the Nominated Adviser to 4GLOBAL and Oberon Capital is the Company's broker.
