Cirralto Ltd (ASX:CRO) has signed a binding funding services agreement with eBev to roll out funding services to eBev’s online beverage trading network.
eBev is Australia’s largest online wholesale beverage ordering platform, connecting more than 350 venues, 700 suppliers and 12,000 licensed premises, who purchase more than A$150 million of product per year through the platform.
Funding to A$10 million
Cirralto will provide funding against these transactions, initially up to a limit of A$1 million, 10% of the expected full facility limit of $10 million, which will expand to A$3 million funding limit by the first three months of the agreement. After this time the full funding will be available.
The funding will be provided by Cirralto’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Invigo Pty Ltd, and is expected to go live within 10 days.
Cirralto’s revenue will be derived at an effective rate of 1.35% of eBev’s funded transactions. eBev will be charged at the company’s standard facility rates.
Expansion of facilities expected
The agreement allows for Cirralto to provide debtor finance services to eBev, to enable it to facilitate the expansion of its early payment capabilities to suppliers. This promises even faster growth for eBev and its network.
eBev has also made application for Cirralto to deliver payment services through its trading platform.
The partners intend to leverage their similar business-to-business philosophies to expand the relationship. Down the track, this will include the provision of buy now, pay later (BNPL) and payment gateway services. Cirralto will ultimately process all payments made through eBev’s network.
Vast scope of demand
“This agreement is another example that showcases the appetite for our B2B finance products," Cirralto CEO Adrian Floate said. “The resources we have invested to build out our payments and lending infrastructure means we are now well-positioned to satisfy a vast scope of demand.”
“Given the similarities in business ideologies between eBev and Cirralto, I see this agreement being the first step in a growing relationship.”
The agreement is an example of Cirralto’s node-spoke strategy, contracting marketplace nodes to provide payments and lending services to a vast network of retailers, and blending finance solutions to both buyer and seller to maximise liquidity for each end of the supply chain.
