BTU Metals Corp said it has closed its previously-announced, non-brokered private placement consisting of six million flow-through units, at a price of $0.09 per unit, for total gross proceeds of $540,000. Proceeds raised from the offering will be used for ongoing work programs at the Dixie Halo Project located in Red Lake, Ontario, contiguous to Great Bear Resources (TSX-V:GBR), as the company continues to drill at its high-grade gold targets at Dixie Creek and its VMS targets at TNT. Each flow-through unit was comprised of one common share of the company issued on a flow-through basis and one-half of one common share purchase warrant to be issued on a non-flow-through basis, entitling the holder to acquire one common share of BTU at a price of $0.15 for a period of 18 months following the closing of the offering. Finders' fees of $24,570 were paid to arm's length parties. The shares and warrant comprising the units are subject to a four-month hold period expiring March 19, 2022. Closing of the offering is subject to final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Altamira Gold Corp has announced results of the first two diamond drill holes at the Mutum target within the company’s Apiacas project in Brazil, which confirmed the presence of a broad zone of disseminated gold within altered intrusive rocks. Altamira said drill hole DDMUT-0001 returned 131.75 metres (m) of 0.2 grams per tonne gold, indicating the potential for significant volumes of primary gold mineralization within the project area.
Else Nutrition Holdings Inc (OTCQX:BABYF, TSX-V:BABY) has announced highly favorable results from an independent pilot study conducted with US mom customers of its Plant-Based Nutrition for Toddlers and Kids. Snowline Gold Corp has reported more Phase 1 drill results from Jupiter zone on its Einarson gold project in Canada’s Yukon Territory, which have expanded the high-grade gold footprint at the property. The latest hole was found to have hit a large, sulphide-bearing quartz-carbonate vein, the company said, and assayed 13.72 grams per ton (g/t) gold over an intersection of 3.6 metres (m) from a depth of 119.1m. That included a length of 0.95m at 25.2 g/t starting from a depth of 121.8m. Notably, this hole was sunk 153m northwest of recent high-grade discovery holes, it added.

On Wednesday, a state of emergency was declared in the Canadian western province and the renewable energy infrastructure group said in a statement on Thursday that it does not expect a material impact due to the flooding surrounding its Fraser Valley Biogas (FVB) facility or its Net Zero Waste Abbotsford (NZWA) facility. However, the FVB facility has been evacuated and temporarily shut down, the firm noted, while its NZWA facility remains in operation. Employees at both sites remain accounted for and safe, it added.

BMEX Gold Inc (TSX-V:BMEX) said it has kicked off a 3,000 metre (m) second phase drill program at its King Tut project in the Abitibi in Quebec, to test a shear zone to the west of the property. The move comes after a drone magnetic survey followed up on an inaugural drill program carried out in the first half of this year, which returned anomalous gold values in nearly every hole. One of those holes sunk at the western edge of the known gold-bearing structure hit an impressive 81.89 grams per ton (g/t) gold over an intercept of 0.45m, noted BMEX, and now there is nearly two kilometres (km) of strike length between Tut and Audet Quest to the west to drill test a shear zone. "Armed with additional information following several months of data compilation and analysis, we have a better understanding of the gold system at King Tut and are in a stronger position to move forward with our Phase 2 drill program," BMEX CEO Robert Pryde said in a statement.

The results come from Trench T-14, which is orientated along a northwest axis and intercepts the same mineralized structure previously identified, where an assay of 6.68 g/t gold across 12 metres (m) was reported. Trench T-14 averaged 8.02 grams per ton (g/t) gold over nine samples over nine meters. The highest grade encountered was 21.7 g/t gold over a channel of 1m, while the lowest was 0.066 g/t of the yellow metal.

As a result of the offering, Crook currently holds or controls, directly or indirectly, 31,333,333 Playgon common shares and 1,666,667 warrants, which represents approximately 12.59% of those currently outstanding without giving effect to the exercise of any warrants, and approximately 13.18% on partially diluted basis after giving effect to the exercise of the warrants beneficially owned by her, without giving effect to the exercise of any other warrants under the direction or control of Crook or any other party, or the exercise or conversion of any other outstanding convertible security of the company.

The company noted that it prefers not to opine on stock price and trading activity, however, given the recent inquiries from investors, it confirmed that everything material has been disclosed by the company in either its press releases or financial reports.
