Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTCQX:BBRDF) chief executive Ian McDonough joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with the news that it won the 'Best Tech Company 2021 Award' at the SportsPro OTT (over-the-top). Blackbird was crowned the winner by a panel of 72 judges drawn from international rights holders, broadcasters and technology providers.
They deemed Blackbird’s cloud video editing and publishing platform was ‘pushing boundaries and innovation’ in the fast-paced broadcast media industry.
McDonough also discussed news this week that the company's video-editing and publishing technology has been chosen by Eurovision Sports for a multi-year deal.
