EverGen Infrastructure Corp (TSX-V:EVGN) told investors it does not expect a 'material impact' to its business, as the group updated on the latest flooding situation in British Columbia, Canada.

On Wednesday, a state of emergency was declared in the Canadian western province and the renewable energy infrastructure group said in a statement on Thursday that it does not expect a material impact due to the flooding surrounding its Fraser Valley Biogas (FVB) facility or its Net Zero Waste Abbotsford (NZWA) facility.

However, the FVB facility has been evacuated and temporarily shut down, the firm noted, while its NZWA facility remains in operation. Employees at both sites remain accounted for and safe, it added.

"EverGen continues to monitor the situation in the Abbotsford and Sumas Prairie regions to ensure employee safety and project security for both facilities, and to determine and assess damage to its property or assets," the firm added in the brief statement.

EverGen acquires, develops, builds, owns and operates a portfolio of renewable natural gas, waste to energy, and related infrastructure projects.

The company currently has three facilities in its portfolio and plans to grow its platform into other regions in North America.

Last month, the company reported record production for September as a result of enhancement and optimization projects at recently acquired Fraser Valley Biogas Ltd, supporting growing demand for renewable natural gas (RNG) in BC.
