Plurilock Security says Aurora Systems subsidiary inks reseller agreement with BeyondTrust; adds Boast platform's fintech expertise

As a trusted vendor for several state, local, and federal government agencies, Aurora offers IT and cybersecurity support services, including cutting-edge software like BeyondTrust's offerings

Plurilock Security Inc said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora Systems Consulting Inc has entered into a reseller agreement with BeyondTrust Corporation to sell its suite of cybersecurity and IT support products.

BeyondTrust is a cybersecurity software company and world leader in privileged access management, with more than 20,000 customers.

As a trusted vendor for several state, local, and federal government agencies, including the US Department of State, the US Missile Defense Agency, and US Special Operations Command, Aurora offers IT and cybersecurity support services, including cutting-edge software like BeyondTrust's offerings.

"We are pleased to partner with BeyondTrust as a vendor within our Solutions Division," said Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock in a statement.

"As an organization, we are committed to providing zero trust solutions that protect networks and critical assets from the growing cyber threat, and their privileged access management offering aligns with that commitment," he added.

The latest deal comes a day after Plurilock revealed that Aurora Systems had received a US$297,000 order from the US Air Force as part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, a US Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Vehicle (GWAC).

The order was part of the SEWP V program and aligns with Plurilock's stated goal of expanding within the government and defense verticals. All contracts and orders announced by Plurilock and its subsidiaries since April 2021, including the latest order, represent a combined total of roughly US$13.05 million in sales.

In a separate statement on Thursday, Plurilock Security also said that it has added Boast's expertise through its subsidiary, Plurilock Security Solutions Inc to bolster innovation of Plurilock's continuous authentication cybersecurity products.

Boast is a fintech platform that is democratizing access to billions of dollars in R&D tax credits and innovation funding so companies can fuel their growth while preserving equity and avoiding red tape. With operations across the US and Canada, more than 1,000 innovative companies have leveraged Boast to get more money faster for less time and risk.

"Our technology provides the missing piece of the zero-trust puzzle, enabling organizations to protect their devices without adding friction for their employees," commented Plurilock CEO Patterson. "Being the leader in continuous authentication means we need to constantly innovate to provide the best possible product and stay ahead of the growing cyber threat."

Prior to Plurilock transitioning to a public company in 2020, its subsidiary, Plurilock Security Solutions engaged tax incentive technology specialist Boast to capture eligible tax incentives from the Canadian government's SR&ED program.

"Our work with Boast on leveraging SR&ED and IRAP program funding laid the foundation for Plurilock to successfully file three patents, increasing our competitive moat, which would have been very difficult without the SR&ED funds," said Paterson.

Lloyed Lobo, Boast co-founder added: "Plurilock makes innovation a continuous commitment. They use their advancements to spur growth and differentiation, and they accelerate job growth and the development of new technology. Throughout our engagement with Plurilock Security Solutions, Boast's used its AI-powered software which makes eligibility determination seamless."

The world's data security is continually being challenged, and to combat the growing number of devastating cyber-attacks impacting enterprises, newer technologies are needed to ensure the safety of networks and critical assets. Plurilock's mission is to serve as a zero-trust solution, using proprietary, AI-driven behavioral-biometric technology to protect organizations by continuously authenticating the identity of device users.

Plurilock provides identity-centric cybersecurity for today's workforces. The Plurilock family of companies enables organizations to operate safely and securely while reducing cybersecurity friction.

The company offers world-class IT and cybersecurity solutions through its Solutions Division, paired with proprietary, AI-driven and cloud-friendly security through its Technology Division. Together, the Plurilock family of companies delivers persistent identity assurance with unmatched ease of use.
