Greggs PLC (LSE:GRG) has warned that supply chain issues have led to a shortage of its popular vegan sausage rolls.
The baker and fast food chain said there were "temporary interruptions" to supplies of products including vegan sausage rolls across the UK, according to a Reuters report.
"Some shops may not have them or may not have them throughout the day. It varies," a Greggs spokesperson told Reuters.
Stores in the capital were particularly hard hit with Greggs branches in Twickenham, Richmond and Earls Court out of vegan sausage rolls in the first half of this week, its new outlet in Canary Wharf out of the product on Tuesday and Wednesday and its South Woodford branch out of stock on Wednesday, Reuters said.
Greggs said last month that it had been impacted by labour shortages and supply chain constraints, which would lead to cost increases towards the end of 2021 and the start of 2022.
