Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE) told investors its crypto trading app is to become "one of the most competitive in the market" as it is striking off deal fees.
A limited-time campaign, which sees Mode’s 0.99% trading fee drop to zero, aims to make Bitcoin more accessible to millions across the UK, the company said in a statement.
"Now more than ever we are focused on getting Bitcoin into the hands of millions,” said chief executive Ryan Moore.
“Our goal is to remove the barriers and make it appealing for new and existing Bitcoin holders to confidently enter the Bitcoin world and maximise their holdings.
“We've already made our app intuitive for Bitcoin newcomers, and we've pledged to reduce our carbon emissions, so that users can grow their Bitcoin without harming the environment. With this campaign, we hope to remove even more barriers and accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin in the UK."
Mode is teaming up with entrepreneur and crypto podcast host Anthony Pompliano as part of the campaign, as it aims to raise Mode's brand awareness and accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin.
