Andromeda Metals Ltd (ASX:ADN) has established a Technical Advisory Committee to steer its research and development programs and provide advice on business prospects.
Inaugural member of the committee, Dr Richard Flook, is expected to bring his extensive industry expertise to the table.
Minerals expertise
Flook has more than 30 years of experience in profit growth, cost control and new business opportunities including trading, corporate planning, strategic analysis and market development in the minerals industry and has been involved in managing and developing minerals operations and businesses in Australasia and Asia.
A specialist mineral and chemical consultant and former managing director of Shinagawa Refractories Australasia Pty Ltd, he has been involved in the trajectories of Australian Consolidated Industries, Steetley Industries, Anglo American, Normandy Mining and Omya.
“We are delighted to welcome Dr Flook to the Andromeda team, as the first member of this committee," chairman Rhod Grivas said. “Richard’s extensive background in industrial minerals and strategic business analysis will bring immediate skills to the table to assist the company.”
Technical Advisory Committee
Recognising a need for specialist skills and experience in order to progress several of its projects towards commercialisation, Andromeda has established the committee to work closely with managing director James Marsh and newly appointed chief commercial officer Tim Anderson.
“With the company’s research and innovation focus, it is important to provide the executive team and board with supplementary technical expertise,” Grivas said.
“We are excited to create a Technical Advisory Committee that will provide the knowledge, advice and stewardship to progress several of our exciting opportunities towards commercialisation.”
The committee will be chaired by Grivas, with other external members expected to join the committee in due course.
