Open Orphan PLC (AIM:ORPH, OTC:OPORF) said its Venn Life Sciences arm has renewed a £1.5mln, two-year contract with an unnamed major pharmaceutical client.
The contract was won by Venn’s office in Breda, The Netherlands, which will provide clinical pharmacokinetics support to the client. Pharmacokinetics assesses how a drug is absorbed, distributed and metabolised by the human body.
Chairman Cathal Friel said: “The continued support by Venn to a distinguished partner such as this demonstrates the value of Venn's clinical pharmacokinetics offering, as part of its comprehensive offering in drug development consultancy, clinical trial design and execution.”
The contract will kick off in January next year.
