Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE) (Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE)) Ryan Moore joins Proactive London after teaming up with PayEscape to pilot the first-ever Bitcoin payroll product in the UK.
The Bitcoin Payroll will see a monthly deduction of net pay from subscribers that will be converted into Bitcoin and deposited directly into a user's Mode Bitcoin wallet.
He says it is another step towards breaking down the barriers to mainstream Bitcoin adoption.
Moore also reflects back on a preliminary agreement to provide payment services incorporating bitcoin to online shopping platform THG PLC (LSE:THG), better known as The Hut Group (THG PLC (LSE:THG)).
Mode has developed a mobile app that enables shoppers to receive bitcoin cashback and the platform will be integrated into THG's Ingenuity e-commerce platform.
