Hawkmoon Resources (CSE:HM) Corp announced it had hit a wide, prospective gold zone in all 10 holes drilled as part of a recent drill campaign on its Lava gold property in Quebec.
According to Hawkmoon, the 1,005-metre program intersected the Lavallée shear zone (LSZ) in every hole.
Downhole widths ranged from 10 to 30 metres, Hawkmoon said in a release, with true widths yet to be determined.

Hawkmoon told investors that the LSZ appears to be open both to the northeast and southwest as well as at depth.
"It gives me great joy to stand on our properties as the diamond drill turns,” CEO Branden Haynes said in a statement.
“The Lava Gold property is a grand opportunity for Hawkmoon to participate in the recently rejuvenated Belleterre region of Quebec. Neighbouring companies such as Vior Inc and Osisko Mining (TSX:OR.WT) Corporation are further advancing this historic camp.”
Lava is situated around 20 kilometers west of the town of Belleterre, and 150 kilometers southwest of Val d’Or.
In addition to Lava, Vancouver-based Hawkmoon is also exploring the Wilson and Romeo gold properties, which are in the famed Abitibi gold district of Quebec.
