Cypress Development CEO Bill Willoughby joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has started extraction testing of lithium-bearing claystone at the Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada.
Willoughby tells Proactive the work is taking place with their pilot plant and utilizes chloride-based leaching combined with the Chemionex—Lionex process for Direct Lithium Extraction.
This testing the company says is intended to confirm and optimize the extraction of lithium from their project.
