Electra Battery Materials Chief Financial officer Ryan Snyder joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced a 30% increase in the design capacity of their cobalt refinery in Canada. Snyder says their first production is scheduled for Q4 2022.
Snyder telling Proactive that increase will be with their crystallizer circuit, which will result in an installed capacity of 6,500 tonnes of annual cobalt production, a 30% capacity increase from the feasibility study design of 5,000 tonnes Snyder also says the company has signed contracts and purchase orders with commitments totalling 22 million dollars U.S.
