Euro Manganese CEO Marco Romero joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s Chvaletice Manganese Project. The demonstration plant is still on target to begin operation in Q2-2022. Assembly of the plant is continuing at the project site in the Czech Republic, as well as in China, where the components of the plant are being assembled. Romero also told Proactive the project’s original pilot plant, which initially operated in 2018, has been restarted to produce product samples for certain new prospective customers. Romero also told Proactive the company’s work on their definitive feasibility study continues with about 60% of planned work now complete. A detailed assessment of local infrastructure constraints is now underway in order to determine solutions for power connections, as well as land acquisition/access.
