Caracal Gold PLC (LSE:GCAT) Robbie McCrae, chief executive of Caracal joins Proactive London after updating the market on their progress, selling 569 ounces of gold produced from its Kilimapesa mine in Kenya during September.
This is as they continue to build production at Kilimapesa, following a fundraising in London undertaken in August.
Underground mining operations during September focused on development of the reef drive and new raises to open up new stoping areas to meet the planned increased level of run-of mine production.
The firm has also completed the connection to Kenya's national power grid, the switch over from diesel power generation on 29 October is part of its efforts to build sustainable mining and gold processing operations and optimise and increase profitability.
