Organic Garage (TSX-V:OG) Ltd has announced the appointment of Yosi Heber to the advisory board of the company’s wholly-owned plant-based food business, Future of Cheese Inc.
The company said Heber, a former Kraft Heinz Co (NASDAQ:KHC) and Danone (OTCQX:DANOY) SA executive, will work closely with Organic Garage (TSX-V:OG)’s senior management team to develop and execute brand and product-specific marketing, retail, and consumer-driven strategies to assist in introducing the company’s products to the US market, help to build significant strategic relationships, and establish Future of Cheese as a leader in the plant-based food category.
“We are thrilled to have Mr. Heber join our team,” Future of Cheese president Jen Wojtaszek said in a statement.

“His confidence and guidance in the direction and future outlook of our company will be of tremendous value to the growth of our brand and the exceptional products we are bringing to market,” Wojtaszek added.
Heber also commented, stating: “Plant-based foods are quickly becoming one of the hottest growth areas of the entire global food industry, and I’m very excited to be working with such a talented team who have developed ‘paradigm changing’ dairy products that are at the cutting edge of the plant-based revolution.”
Heber also spent four years as chief marketing officer of Barry Diller’s IAC/InterActiveCorp’s Entertainment Division, where he worked closely with IAC digital giants Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE), Ticketmaster, Match.com, and Lending Tree.
