Aurumin Ltd (ASX:AUN) has received additional high-grade assays in follow-up sampling from July reverse circulation drilling at its 100%-owned Mt Dimer Project in Western Australia.
The new 1-metre assays are in addition to the results received and reported in September and improve both Lightning and LO3 results.
Lightning Deposit
The latest 1-metre results at Lightning, a high-grade unmined deposit at Mt Dimer include 6 metres at 1.25 g/t gold, including 1-metre at 3.01 g/t in LTRC2106.
With these additional results returned, Aurumin’s best intersection drilled to date has increased to 10 metres at 20.22 g/t, including 1-metre at 153.50 g/t.
Of note is the additional intervals indicate that the hole finished in mineralisation and Aurumin will now look to re-enter the hole in the coming drill program.
LO3 Deposit
Highlights of the latest 1-metre results from its LO3 deposit include 4.0 metres at 3.07 g/t, including 1-metre at 7.36 g/t in L03RC2103 and 1-metre at 23.4 g/t in LO3RC2104.
With the additional 1-metre results returned for Aurumin’s LO3 drilling, LO3RC2104 is now reported as 3 metres at 9.83 g/t and LO3RC2106 is now reported as 6 metres at 16.19 g/t including 3 metres at 30.31 g/t.
These results are in the northern and southern extremity of the deposit and highlight the potential for further extensional work in both directions.
Unchanged intersections from the July drilling program include 8 metres at 5.70 g/t in LO3RC2107.
T12 Prospect
Recently returned results in TMDRC2104 included 1 metre at 0.65 g/t.
Drilling during the July program returned positive results in four of five holes, with the highlights being the broad shallow mineralisation in both TMDRC2102 (8 metres at 2.58 g/t) from 22 metres downhole and TMDRC2101 (4 metres at 2.76 g/t) from 15 metres downhole.
Aurumin has revised the interpretation of the orientation of the structure and aims to identify additional mineralisation down dip and along strike to confirm T12 as a new deposit in the upcoming drill program.
Frodo North
The highlight at Frodo North (T6) was FNRC2101 with 2 metres at 11.67 g/t, including 1-metre at 22.00 g/t, from 29 metres down hole.
The highlight of recently returned results was 1-metre at 2.26 g/t at FNRC2104.
