Century Global Commodities Corporation has announced the appointment of financial expert John Gravelle to its board of directors.
Gravelle, a retired partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, is currently a director of KP3993 Resources Inc, and was previously on the board at several mining companies, including Century Metals Inc and Brio Gold Inc.
His public company board experience includes roles in audit, compensation and strategic committees, the company said.

"We welcome Mr. Gravelle to the board of directors. We believe the strong financial background and rich public company board experience of Mr. Gravelle will bring in much additional values to Century," said Sandy Chim, CEO of Century.
Century Global owns some of the largest iron ore resources in Canada, totaling some 20 billion tonnes in multiple deposits across five projects in Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. This total includes the Joyce Lake Direct Shipping (DSO) Iron Ore Project, Hayot Lake, Full Moon, Black-Bird and the Duncan Lake project.
Meanwhile, Century Food is a subsidiary of the company which it started a few years ago and is a value-adding marketing and distribution business of quality food products sourced from such regions as Europe and Australia and sold in the Hong Kong market.
