Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:GWMO) said it will use the latter part of the season to bring forward work on its Huntoon Valley and the East Mine projects.
Brian Hall, executive chairman, said they did not have time to work in these areas previously, but as funds are available it can move forward with exploration over its entire portfolio.
Elsewhere, GWM said it resolved the most severe problems related to access to the tailings heaps at its Mineral Jackpot project in Nevada. An upgrade to the road is scheduled prior to the 2022 work season, with the upgrade already fully permitted.
A permit has also been granted for auger-drilling up to 12 shallow holes in the large OMCO Mine tailings heap at the Olympic Gold project and drilling will begin in the next few days.
On the exploration side, an IP survey is scheduled for 1 November at East Mine, with drones to be used for magnetic surveys at several projects.
Drilling will also get underway at Olympic Gold and the Rock House Group early in the 2022 work season
Hall said: "Great Western is in a strong position going forward, moving ahead over our extensive exploration claims while the scale of the potential production operation under evaluation is constantly expanding.”
