Jindalee Resources Ltd (ASX:JRL) is working to service the USA’s growing emphasis on critical minerals and decarbonisation through its advanced McDermitt Lithium Project in Oregon and the earlier stage Clayton North Lithium Project in Nevada.
In outlining the company’s investment case during Tuesday’s Proactive Critical Minerals Webinar, executive director Lindsay Dudfield spoke about McDermitt’s potential for long-life, low-cost mining operations.
The company is undertaking a scoping study and planning for an extensive RC and diamond drilling program designed to upgrade and extend the current resource of 1.43 billion tonnes at 1,320 ppm lithium for 10.1 million tonnes lithium carbonate equivalent.
Changing global dynamics in relation to green energy, strength in the prices of lithium chemicals and strong market fundamentals have focused attention on potential sources of future lithium supply to the EV industry, including McDermitt.
