Tartisan Nickel nearing the finish line of its drill program at Kenbridge nickel project; shares start trading on OTCQX

With over 90% of the program completed, Tartisan has mobilized a drill to the Kenbridge North target to sink three additional holes approximately 500 metres each

Tartisan Nickel Corp is nearly through with its Phase I drill campaign at its Kenbridge nickel project in Ontario, the company revealed.

With over 90% of the program completed, Toronto-based Tartisan told investors that it has mobilized a drill to the Kenbridge North target to sink three additional holes approximately 500 metres (m) each.

Kenbridge North is located around 2.5 kilometres north of the primary Kenbridge nickel deposit and is thought to host similar rock types, according to Tartisan.

The drilling program was designed to target the down dip and along strike extension of the Kenbridge deposit and to test the Kenbridge North target.

Preliminary interpretation of earlier data suggests that two parallel, steeply dipping, strongly conductive zones extend below the intersections from three drill holes.

Highlights from that drilling included two nickel-copper zones at a depth of 663m and 693.7m, with intercepts of 25.5m of 1.13% nickel (Ni) and 0.61% copper (Cu), including 4.5m of 2.96% Ni and 1.66% Cu and 1.5m of 4.17% Ni and 2.14% Cu.

Kenbridge is located in the Kenora mining district of Ontario.

Separately, Tartisan said its shares have begun to trade on the OTCQX Best Market under the symbol TTSRF. Upgrading to the OTCQX International is an important step for companies seeking to provide transparent trading for their US investors. For companies listed on the OTCQX International, streamlined market standards enable them to utilize their home market reporting to make their information available in the US. To qualify for OTCQX, companies must meet high financial standards, follow best practice corporate governance, and demonstrate compliance with applicable securities laws.

Mark Appleby, president and CEO of Tartisan Nickel commented: "We are pleased to graduate to the OTCQX today as we expand both our US institutional and retail investor base. Tartisan has a 10,000-meter drill program underway which is now 9,000 meters complete at the Kenbridge Nickel Deposit and at the Kenbridge North targets. Geophysics is occurring at site and we are updating the historic Preliminary Economic Assessment 'PEA'. Management is aggressively moving all aspects of the Company forward to best allow us to gather all information which should lead Tartisan towards a potential feasibility study go decision".
