Brookside Energy maintains momentum in SWISH AOI with preparations for high-impact Rangers Well

“It is great to be breaking ground on our next well in SWISH, fresh off the operational success and wonderful results we are seeing from production from our Jewell Well, which is located just five miles to the east," says MD.

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) has taken another step toward production at the high-impact Rangers 36-25 SXH 1 Well in the SWISH Area of Interest (AOI) in Oklahoma’s world-class Anadarko Basin with the completion of initial access infrastructure.

Construction of an all-weather multi-well pad and access road has been completed and drilling of the well’s cellar has begun, which will be followed by drilling of the conductor hole and setting of the conductor casing.

Brookside has embarked on a potential five-year, 20-plus well development program across the three operational areas in the SWISH AOI. Conservative estimates place the prospective resource’s potential at 11 million net barrels of oil equivalent (BOE).

Operational momentum continues

“It’s fantastic to see our operational momentum continue in the SWISH AOI with the completion of the all-weather pad on the Rangers DSU and equipment on-site getting ready to drill and set the conductor casing,” Brookside managing director David Prentice said.

“It is great to be breaking ground on our next well in SWISH, fresh off the operational success and wonderful results we are seeing from production from our Jewell Well, which is located just five miles to the east.

“We are very much looking forward to keeping our shareholders and investors updated with progress on operations from Rangers as we get underway."

Jewell Well exceeds expectations

Brookside recently announced production levels at its ‘core of the core’ Jewell Well within the SWISH AOI is now at highest pre-drill estimates, reaching an output of 1,727 BOE per day at an 82%:18% ratio of liquid to gas.

The Jewell well has achieved that output despite only having recovered a third of the stimulation fluid at that time, indicating production will continue to ramp up as the Well progresses.
