Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd hyper-casual gaming subsidiary GAMEE has officially launched Arc8, a play-to-earn mobile esports platform.
Arc8 delivers high-engagement, skill-based casual games on blockchain made possible by Polygon's full-stack scaling solution.
Uptake of Arc8 since its Beta launch in September has been impressive, with more than 1.3 million registered users signing up in less than three weeks.
The speed of which people have adopted Arc8, makes it one of the top three blockchain games across all blockchains and the #1 Dapp on the Polygon chain. It also pushed the Polygon chain to overtake Ethereum as measured by daily active users.
Full launch could see exponential uptake
Arc8 was launched out of Beta mode today.

Arc8 players can now can access 10 casual games on the platform, allowing them to participate in one-on-one matches and group tournaments in order to win GMEE tokens as prizes.
GMEE is the utility token of GAMEE and is used to pay for entry fees in game tournaments and to make purchases on the platform.
GAMEE was founded in 2015 in the Czech Republic and now has 30 million registered users and more than 4.7 billion gameplay sessions.
Tokens are designed for governance functions, including voting on GAMEE roadmaps, game deployment and the distribution of prize and rewards pools. GMEE is currently listed on Uniswap, Sushiswap, QuickSwap, Kucoin, MEXC and Bitmart.
GAMEE is also getting ready to launch G-Bots, a move that will further enhance the game-playing and esports experience on Arc8.
G-Bots are upgradeable NFT game characters that will unlock expanded functionality as they level up and that will grant owners access to exclusive play-to-earn tournaments on the platform.
