Metal Tiger welcomes quarterly update from investee Cobre

The Kalahari Copper Belt is regarded as one of the most prospective areas in the world for copper exploration, according to the US Geological Survey

Metal Tiger PLC (AIM:MTR, OTC:MRTTF, ASX:MTR) welcomed a quarterly update from Cobre Ltd (ASX:CBE) as its investee continued to focus on its diverse project portfolio in Australia and its investments in Botswana and Gabon.

Metal Tiger currently has a 16.6% stake in ASX-listed Cobre.

Last week, Metal Tiger said the next phase of drilling has started at the Endurance prospect of Kalahari Metals Ltd’s Kitlanya East project in the Botswana Kalahari Copper Belt. Metal Tiger holds a 50.01% interest in Kalahari Metals, with Cobre holding the remainder.
