Pathfinder Ventures (TSX-V:RV) Inc said it has reached 100% occupancy at its winterized sites in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley.
Occupants at the Fort Camping RV park and campground in Fort Langley stay for six months from mid-October until mid-April, according to a statement from the Vancouver-based company.
A small percentage of campsites also remain available for short-term campers, the company added.

In a statement, Pathfinder noted strong demand from seniors who own RVs living in northern BC, as well as those from more easterly provinces that are attracted by the mild climate on the south coast of BC.
Pathfinder said it had adopted and implemented Fort Camping’s winter stay program at its Agassiz-Harrison and Parksville locations to capitalize on the demand.
"We are excited to bring our experience running a successful winter campaign in Fort Langley to build a highly-desirable winter stay program at our other camp resorts," said Stan Duckworth, Pathfinder's COO.
The company also noted that the opening of the US-Canada border has not led to decreased demand, even though seniors often head south of the border to sit out Canadian winters in warmer climates.
"The fact that people have the option to travel south this winter but have still chosen to stay with our resort speaks to the quality and value we are providing our winter guests-and the strong reputation we plan to maintain and build going forward,” CEO Joe Bleacky told shareholders.
Pathfinder currently has three camp resorts located in BC and is focused on growing its network through both acquisitions and new construction.
