ElectraMeccanica (NASDAQ:SOLO) Vehicles Corp announced that it had wrapped up migration to its new ERP system, which it said will leverage business-transformation-as-a-service RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
The new system integrates ElectraMeccanica (NASDAQ:SOLO)’s finance, supply chain, manufacturing, sales and distribution operations processes, according to a statement from the company.
Vancouver-based ElectraMeccanica worked with PwC Canada to select and implement the ERP system as the “digital foundation” of the business.

ElectraMeccanica, which is aiming to deliver environmentally-friendly electric vehicles around the world, said that SAP S/4HANA Cloud will help to support its growth and go-to-market strategy.
“SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the technology foundation that will enable us to manage rapid growth for years to come, enabling an unparalleled level of insight into our vehicle assembly operations,” said Kevin Pavlov, CEO of ElectraMeccanica, in a statement.
Pavlov thanked PwC for its assistance in choosing the best platform to “meet (the company’s) unique needs.”
“The implementation of this comprehensive system will best position ElectraMeccanica to scale operations, future-proof our business and obtain critical feedback to empower more informed operational decisions,” Pavlov added. “We look forward to closely working with the team at PwC to improve operational efficiency firm-wide as we ramp production to meet the strong demand of our SOLO vehicles.”

ElectraMeccanica’s flagship vehicle SOLO is a purpose-built, single-seat, three-wheeled vehicle that it expects to revolutionize the urban driving experience, including commuting, delivery and shared mobility.
