Quadrise Fuels International PLC (AIM:QFI) said it will monitor the situation in Morocco after the country banned flights from the UK until further notice due to rising UK Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
The company is slated to start trials at a client site in Morocco in the fourth quarter.
"The company continues to prepare for the forthcoming trial at the client site in Morocco, with equipment ready to be shipped and arrangements for fuel manufacture in place. The ban on UK flights is not expected to impact the scheduled shipment of trial equipment in October 2021", a statement issued Wednesday read.
"However, the ban on inbound and outbound UK flights may affect the ability of Quadrise personnel to travel to Morocco to carry out the trial, with a resultant potential impact on the trial start date," it cautioned. "The company continues to prepare for the commencement of the trial in Q4 2021 whilst monitoring the situation and further announcements will be made, as appropriate, in due course."
